At the occasion of the upcoming worldwide sports competition which will take place next year in Korea and in cooperation with PyeongChang's committee, the FKCCI decided to create a Gala atmosphere focusing on winter sports and the beauty of mountain winter nights.
A pianist and a singer-songwriter, Alma, adored by digital platforms which have named her as one of the most promising emerging artists of 2017, is a stellar, talented young woman with a unique and ethereal voice. It was when she started to travel and discover other cultures that Alma wrote her first songs, visiting Brazil, the United States and Italy, while pursuing her studies.
After getting her degree at a business school, she finally knew that she wanted to devote herself to her lifelong passion, music. She moved to Paris and embarked on "the most beautiful journey of all", one which would lead her to write and compose songs. That's when she met Nazim, the talented songwriter and performer, who became her artistic partner with whom she wrote most of the songs on her first album released on 5 May 2017.
Alma represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Requiem”.
HEILL is a high-end ready-to-wear fashion brand founded by designer Heill Yang in 2012 in Seoul. The concept is to offer an unique style inspired by French couture, Korean art and poetry. Tonight’s show will present the “Peace in PyeongChang” collection.
